Comme des Garcons

COMMES des GARÇONS - French for "like boys" - is an internationally recognized brand founded in 1969 by the Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo. The iconic red-heart-with-eyes logo on its PLAY line is instantly recognizable across the globe. In 2017, New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art made the theme of its annual Costume Institute exhibition Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between, demonstrating the breadth of the designer's influence. Today, the brand's colour-saturated, avant-garde designs are loved by fashionistas all over the world.
