Giorgio Beverly Hills is an American perfume brand established in 1961 by Fred and Gayle Hayman. The brand is named after a luxury store whose sunny yellow and white stripes have been the inspiration for the design of the perfume bottles. Back in 1980, their perfume of the same name became one of the most loved and iconic scents on the market.

The brand itself had its infancy in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive. Rodeo Drive is a street with luxury shops, which many know from the famous scene in the cult film Pretty Woman. Fred Hayman opened his store on Rodeo Drive, and the store was unique and luxurious, and many famous people had their business there. Fred Hayman, together with his wife at the time, established The Giorgio Beverly Hills perfume back in 1981. Thus, he was one of the first to release a fragrance without being affiliated with a major fashion house.
